When I Was 12 Or So I Went To The Rodeo To Meet A Boy I Thought I Would Kiss But When He Never Arrived I Went To The North East Corner Of The Fairgrounds, Sat On A Fence, And Cried From Sun Down To Sun Up While Watching The Cowboys And Horses And Calves Run And Sweat In The Brown Montana Dirt.

1,000 piece puzzle featuring the work of Andrea Joyce Heimer

Andrea Joyce Heimer’s richly detailed paintings (and titles!) are infused with the dreamlike imagery of a child’s escape into fantasy, and rendered in a flat, paper-doll-like style. The artist’s narratives evoke both a sense of playfulness and profound introspection that make her work utterly unique yet instantly relatable. Let’s face it, we’ve all been stood up at a rodeo in Montana at one point or another in our lives. We just don’t remember it quite like Heimer does.
